The park is also home to a redwood grove that's over 100 years old and features a self-guided nature path. Additional old-growth woods include Douglas fir, oak and Ponderosa pines. In addition, there's a picnic area above the San Lorenzo River where you can fish for steelhead and salmon during the winter months.
